Fantastic Property

The Woodlands Lodge was a fabulous treat for our large extended family. There was plenty of room for everyone. Ted and Brenda were so good at communicating with us from the time we booked up through our week stay, over the course of a year. The Log Cabin on the beach was a treat in itself. My wife and I laid claim to that for our lodging over the week. It was perfect, with a nice porch and view of the lake. The changes Ted and Brenda made to the property during our year wait were a great addition to the Lodge; i.e. a front deck overlooking the lake and enlarging the kitchen. I can’t say enough good about this property. My in-laws talked about wanting to do it again.

Wonderful Family trip

We loved our stay at the Woodlands Lodge with our extended family of 18 (9 adults $ 9 kids). Plenty of space inside and out. The view overlooking the lake is wonderful. We spent our days at the beach and on the Pontoon. Very quiet lake with few boats - it felt like it was our own private lake.

Ted was very responsive to small issue we had at the house.

We will be booking a stay at one of the houses next summer.

Spacious, clean and comfortable home with sunset view over Stone Lake.

The thought and effort Ted and Brenda have invested in Woodlands Lodge insures a positive experience. The home is clean, comfortable and well equipped. The floor plan is great for gathering as a group, as well as allowing for individual quiet time. Whether hiking the wooded trails, kayaking across Stone Lake, enjoying gorgeous sunsets on the pontoon boat, toasting marshmallows in the evening at the fire pit or just relaxing with a good book, we had a lovely week at Woodlands Lodge.

Family Christmas Stay

From my first inquiry, Ted and Brenda were amazing and made the process of renting their property, both informative and easy. I appreciate so much how thorough they are with talking to potential renters to determine if the property they are offering is a good fit for everyone. We had a group of 20, ranging from a 1year old, to my grandmother whom is in her 90’s. The ADA compliant, main floor bathroom/bedroom combo was an amazing find, that isn’t available at many properties. The home was well stocked, felt comfortable and welcoming and was just as described. The floor plan that is included in the pictures really made it easy to have an idea ahead of time of how to determine what rooms would be suitable for all of our family members. I would highly recommend considering this property if you are looking for a family friendly environment for a large group-my only regret is that we weren’t able to enjoy the property during the summer months, it looks like it would be even more amazing then! Last thing, if you do rent one of Ted and Brenda’s homes, be sure to make it to town and enjoy breakfast at the Broadway Cafe-excellent food and AMAZING service!!
